Marijuana seeds and Blue Ivy Carter…read on to find out more.
Marijuana seeds are connected with Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s baby girl, but how?
Beyoncé Knowles gave birth to her and Jay-Z’s (Shawn Corey Carter) first child, Blue Ivy Carter on January 7th 2012 in New York’s Lenox Hill Hospital. The baby has caused, as expected, a flurry of media attention, not least to do with Jay-Z’s new record Glory. The record which was released with the announcement of his baby girl’s birth on January 9th, detailed the pregnancy as well as the couple’s difficulties, including a miscarriage Beyoncé suffered prior to becoming pregnant with Blue Ivy. Jay-Z officially credited Blue Ivy as “B.I.C” on the record as her cries featured at the very end of the track, making her the youngest person ever, at 2 days old, to feature on the Billboard chart when Glory debuted at number 74 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
There have also been a number of debates surrounding the meaning behind Blue Ivy’s name. Some, slightly off the wall in our opinion, include connections to the Illuminate and Lucifer’s daughter. However, the number 4 has an important significance in Beyoncé and Jay-‘s relationship, both were born on the 4th, Beyoncé in September, Jay-Z in December, they were also married on the 4th of April 2008 (04-04-2008) and they have the roman numeral for 4 IV – tattooed on both their wedding fingers – hence the connection with Ivy. Beyoncé’s latest album was also titled 4. In regards to Blue, Jay-Z has released a number of albums including the colour in the title; The Blueprint came out in 2001 (circa the time Beyoncé and Jay-Z got together), The Blueprint2: The Gift & The Curse was released in 2002 and finally Blueprint 3 in 2009.
While this is all interesting stuff, we are certain you agree, what does all of the above have to do with marijuana seeds?
Well, the link with marijuana seeds also surrounds the little one’s name as a strain called “OG Blue Ivy” is being sold in a number of dispensaries in Los Angeles. It has been said that Hollywood dispensaries are cashing in on the “it” baby as they re-brand a strain in-line with her birth. This is not the first time that this has happened, with strains in the past being re-branded as “Charlie Sheen” and “Conrad Murray”, cashing in on times where these celebs have also been hitting the headlines. Marijuna seeds and therefore marijuana strains are commonly named after colours, with Blue cheese, Acapulco gold and White widow, already available.
